Sushi Station

Last weekend I went to a restaurant in Rolling Meadows, Illinois called Sushi Station.

This isn't your typical sushi restaurant, it's a rotating sushi bar!
You just reach in and grab the sushi or Japanese dish you want, no waiting.

The prices all range from $1.25 - $6.25 based on the color of the plate you select.

The chef's do a great job at keeping the rotating bar well stocked.  There are also dishes that can be ordered fresh, such as Calamari.
Don't forget dessert!

Here are some of the dishes we tried.  We decided this was the best time to be more adventurous and try some things we don't normally select.

Trust me, everything tasted as good as it looks in the pictures.  We ended our meal with a total of 9 plates that came to $33 for two people! Can't beat that.  If you are in Chicago, Sushi Station is definitely worth the few miles trip Northwest of the city.

  10. This looks really good! We don't really have any foreign restaurants where I live (southern Italy).. it took years to opens a couple of Mcdonald's. The problem is that there aren't a lot of foreigners and the people are not really that open minded :-(
