Cozy Up

There is nothing like a sweater to make you feel warm and cozy.  I'm continuing my love of fur with this vest I got about 2 1/2 years ago from an estate sale for two bucks.  I've said it before and I just have to say it again, the best deal ever!

Add A Little Faux

This Fall/Winter I'm adding this faux scarf to just about everything, so you will be seeing it often.  Not only is it warm and cozy, but it adds an extra touch of glam to everything.  I've seen these faux neck warmers at H&M, Target, and Forever 21.  So grab a little faux fur and glam up any outfit for an extra stylish look.

Something In The Wild

Do you know the main difference between cheetah print and leopard print? 

I did a search to find out, and here is the difference described better than I can state it:

"A leopard print has rosette-shaped spots with black blots encircling a darker shade of the golden yellow background.

 Cheetah print on the other hand is composed of solid black spots. It doesn’t have rosettes like the leopard print. You can also think of the cheetah print as the leopard print minus the darker yellow core."

Now that this is settled, here is my "animal print" skirt.

I'm back...

Using some of the free time I spent at home last week, I decided to try a couple new recipes.

Potatoes with parsley and onions.

Sauteed Spinach with carrots, almonds and cranberries.

Well I'm back to my regular routine.  My plan is to have a post up everyday this week. Hopefully I can manage that.  ; ) 

Vacation

Just a quick note. 

Forget to say I'm on a staycation this week and I really didn't anticipate not having time or the will to get "dressed" to take outfit pics.  Sorry to leave you hanging.  Hopefully this weekend I can stop being lazy and look stylish again. lol

A Little Sunshine

After several rainy days in a row, Sunday we finally had some sun.  I opened all the blinds and let the sunshine pour in to my apartment.  And even though my outfit reflects gray days, my mood felt pretty bright.

Let's face it ladies, we can't always step out in sky-high heels everyday.  As much as I love to wear heels, my feet just won't allow that all of the time.  Sometimes it's just nice to take a step down and be more comfortable without sacrificing style.  Below I've put together some fun, funky, flats that are a great option for still looking stylish without the extra height.
