On Sunday of my trip in New Orleans we went to the Saints game. What an amazing experience! The Saints fans put the F-A-N in fanatical with their paraphernalia and costumes. And I've never heard any fans be so loud. Their "Who Dat" chant is epic as well. I love my Bears, but for one day I was cheering for the Saints, and they beat the 49ers.
After the game and dinner at House of Blues, I grabbed some beignets from Café Du Monde. They were extremely delicious and I ate all three while they were nice and hot. This place is a must do if you are ever in New Orleans.
Since this was my first time visiting New Orleans, I of course had to visit the French Quarter and Bourbon street. So on the last day of my trip, Monday, we headed over for breakfast, site seeing, and daiquiris.

I love the balconies in the French Quarter, so ornate and beautiful.
This sign sums up how I feel about New Orleans.

I was in New Orleans this past weekend for some New Orleans Saints activities and had so much fun. A Hall of Fame Gala on Saturday and the Saints Game on Sunday. I will be blogging about more of the trip later this week. For now, this is what I wore to the Gala on Saturday.
La'Roi Glover was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

This dress is one of the oldest items I have in my wardrobe. The wrap dress is a style that is very forgiving and flattering through all of my weight fluctuations since the wrap belt can be adjusted according to my current size. Talk about an investment piece.
